I just received an email from Mike Mozey of the RackSpace Cloud. He sent me an announcement about the arrival of their Cloud Servers for Windows, currently in the Beta Stage with a note of caution…
Please remember this is a beta so load your applications wisely, but do beat it up and send us your feedback so we can make it even better.
So, here’s a quick overview of the features available on their Cloud Servers for Windows, if you plan to try it:
Available Features: Features: Cloud Servers for Windows contains many of the core features of the current Cloud Servers Linux product. The feature list includes adding/deleting servers on-demand, API access, rebuilding servers, console access, and the ability to add additional IPs.
Currently Unavailable:backups and restores, resizing, rescue mode, API file injection, or SLAs. (These will be available after testing through out the Beta Stage)
Image Types: The beta will contain the following 5 image types:

# Windows Server 2003 R2 Service Pack 2 Enterprise Edition 64-bit
# Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 Enterprise Edition 32-bit

Pricing: The pricing for Cloud Servers Windows is highly competitive with other cloud services for Windows and often half as much:
