I tried signing up with justhost.com. I used my credit card and transaction went throught. I received an email asking for verification and was told their automated system could not go through as they believe my credit card is a fraud case. I called my bank and was told, money had been debited by justhost.com However no account information was given to me as they continue saying I need to verify. WTF!? You guys took the $$ already, what is there to verify?. Gosh I am running on a deadline and I had picked justhost.com as I read a review somewhere it is the best and affordable hosting company. If I had came across this review website earlier, I won’t be here typing this negative review. I would certainly never ever recommend justhost.com to anyone. justworst.com justbad.com justfcukedup.com justdie.com justbankrupt.com justscrewurself.com justshitty.com justpathetic.com the list goes on…

I called justhost.com to have my websites and domains transferred to them. They started the process and kept asking for more money to do what they said they would in the beginning at the prices on their site. After two weeks of them doing nothing and telling me they could not transfer me and continuing to ask for more money, I said enough was enough. And I asked for a full refund, (like it says they would give on their site. http://www.justhost.com/guarantees ) not only didn’t I get a refund, they were not able get my site transferred over. I AM OUT HUNDREDS of dollars and they did NOTHING.

We are a nonprofit organization that helps disadvantaged children. They basically STOLE from these children. I would NEVER Recommend them to ANYONE for anything. I am contacting the BBB and everyone that I can to let them know about their deceitful practices and totally inability to do their job. They kept me on hold for hours. Switched me to people that could not communicate in my language (English) and all the while asking for more money.

Bottom line? JustDONThost.com would be a better domain.

got through the site sign-up information but hit the BACK button to change some information and wham – I get an email charging my credit card. I did NOT verify, or submit to be charged this, they just scraped the info from the screen. So now they TELL me I will get partial credit (charged $20 for the domain, non–refundable). And you only can contact billing by email so they can ignore or reply back with non-sense till the cows come home. Got an email that the refund can take 7 days – we’ll see, don’t know why so long.

Now I am TRYING to get a valid authorization code to transfer the domain. No luck there either. JustHost is JustBad

This message is to be read by all and specially by Brooke Bryan and Nick Baker (Co-founders of JustHost)

As a customer of JustHost since December 2008 I’ve the following to comment:

1 – I’ve transferred my website registered with register.com to JustHost and bought several add ons, including Priority Support, Domain Privacy and Search Engine Submission by Submission Hub.

2- Since December 2008 I’ve trying to sort out the services I paid for and they did not comply with. I, even called Chicago from London-U to speak with the manager. Was put on hold, and ask to call back in one hour or so. By my third attempt, finally I spoke with someone called Rizza, Risa (not sure how to spell), one of the administrative managers that promised the problem would be resolved.

3- It still going on.

4- JustHost is patronizing me, treating me with no respect, not being professional or courteous and taking money for services that are not being provided. Including the one I paid for Priority Support.

It is making me ill, stressful, wasting my time and soon I’m going to have a nervous breakdown due to this form of abuse and disregard to my person as customer and human being. The waiting game, transfer of tickets from one department to another and unsolved situation during months and months is putting an enormous pressure on me and affecting my well being and productivity.

5- My apologies to all for posting it all over the internet, but after 8 months of this soap opera drama I say: enough is enough. Believe, for months I’ve been trying to sort out this issue and have been played about by staff. JustHost website if full of false advertising, quick to take your money and without delivering the promised services.

Brooke Bryan and Nick Baker my ID in JustHost is amandai1. Take a look in Billing Events and Logs, and also open tickets not answered for days, even when on high priority or 911.

I signed up with justhost, because the features looked very good. As I was signing up, I was offered 50% off on my purchase price. I accepted the offer.

While signing up, my credit card payment was declined. thinking I had made a mistake, I tried again. It was declined a second time. I finally paid with PayPal.

A few days later, I realized that I had been charged twice on my credit card after paying with PayPal. I requested that the two credit card charges be refunded. One credit card payment and my Paypal payment were refunded.

When the overbilling was being fixed, Justhost disabled my account, replacing my site with a page that stated that my account was suspended and the billing department should be contacted.

When I realized that my site had been disabled, I filed a support ticket (when I clicked on the “live support” button, it took me to a ticketing system.) I receive an email several hours later saying that my site had been fixed. I checked and found that it was still disabled. I added this information to the ticket and was referred to billing. Several hours later, billing reinabled my account.

The next morning, I found that an email from billing that said my account had been disabled because someone with exactly the same username as I had canceled their account (!?!?) but that my username had been changed and the problem should not happen again. I checked and my site was again disabled. I added this information to the ticket, but no one reviewed the support ticket again for more than 24 hours. I got no relief until I opened a brand new ticket that called attention to the old ticket.

I am currently trying to get a refund the fees I paid to JustHost. They advertise a “Anytime Money Back Guarantee” but when I try to claim the refund, JustHost says that the 50% off offer was a non refundable site upgrade…

My experience with JustHost was very bad. It appeared to me that support was not concerned with fixing errors that it caused, and that when it did fix them, it did not verify the “solutions.” I feel like I was ripped off. I would not recommend JustHost to my worst enemy.
